16 hours layover in Lima, Peru Itinerary

⚪️This was my 3rd time visiting Lima so I had an idea on how to navigate in this affordable South American city.

⚪️Here is my 16 hours itinerary on how I spent my time in Lima, Peru that perhaps could be helpful with planning your visit as well!

December 23, 2023

⚪️Flew into Lima, Peru (LIM-Jorge Chavez Intl.) Airport at 6:45 AM.

⚪️Stayed at Padama Hotel located in Callao, Lima.

⚪️Callao is a town located directly by the airport.

⚪️Lots of restaurants nearby where you can dined.

⚪️Booked a tour through viator, where I did 15 minutes of paragliding about a few hundred feet above the Pacific Ocean.

Paragliding

⚪️It was the most thrilling experience sharing the sky with the birds!

⚪️ Spent most of my time in Mira Flores; it’s an upscale suburban neighborhood in Lima filled with unique activities.

⚪️Most definitely I would recommend taking an Uber as opposed to a cab into Mira Flores. It’s super affordable.

⚪️Enjoyed an authentic Peruvian lunch and pisco sour (an authentic Peruvian drink).

Pisco

⚪️Finally was able to munched on Churros with chocolate dipping.
